Steve founded RoCo Roofing in 2021. His background in sales, leadership, industry work, and customer relationships shaped a simple goal: make the roofing experience more personal, accountable, and easier to follow.
Meet the RoCo teamThe story behind RoCo
Steve started RoCo in 2021 to close the gap between what customers expect from a contractor and what they sometimes experience. His earlier sales, leadership, and industry experience belongs to his personal background; it is not presented as the age of RoCo Roofing.
His aim was to build a roofing company where installing a roof is only one part of the work. Communication, professionalism, accountability, and genuine care for the customer should shape the experience along the way. Steve describes that standard as a “red-carpet experience.”
Family is part of the company's story, too. RoCo brings together Roberts and Cole, the surnames of Steve's two boys. For Steve, the name is a reminder that the company is about people and the relationships behind the work.
As RoCo grows, Steve's goal is to bring those same standards to additional markets across the Midwest. Growth matters to him when it can come with consistency in workmanship, communication, professionalism, and customer care.

Whether you own a home or manage a commercial property, start with a conversation about the building and your priorities. RoCo helps you understand the roof or exterior concern, the proposed work, and the decisions involved before scheduling.
