Accessible by design

A website that should work without perfect vision, hearing, movement, or input.

The implementation targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and prioritizes keyboard access, readable contrast, visible labels, predictable structure, and reduced motion.

Current accessibility approach

  • Semantic landmarks, one primary heading, and logical heading order.
  • A skip link and complete keyboard access for navigation, forms, links, and accordions.
  • Visible focus indicators and controls sized for touch use.
  • Visible form labels, browser validation, server validation, and announced error summaries.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decoration.
  • Reduced-motion support and no autoplay video or required animation.
  • Responsive layouts from 320 CSS pixels through large desktop screens.

Known approval-dependent content

Project photography, reviews, credentials, warranty wording, financing information, and certain service-area claims remain gated. When approved content is added, it must receive the same keyboard, contrast, text-alternative, and responsive checks before production.

Feedback or an alternate contact path

If a page or control is difficult to use, call 616-228-7551. Describe the page or control that caused difficulty so the team can help you arrange another way to get the information you need.

Assessment status

Automated checks and manual keyboard, responsive, and browser review are part of the local implementation gate. A production accessibility statement should be dated after final content, legal review, and launch authorization.
